The National Space Centre (NSC), an education charity, opened in 2001 has become firmly established as one of East Midlands’ unique, premier event’s venue. Venue Hire is a vital part of the business, exploiting the highly themed surroundings of the award-winning building and exhibition to provide a unique experience. Making the most of the spectacular content and the state-of-the-art building, including the UK’s largest planetarium, the centre offers a wide range of dynamic venue space for conferences, meetings, team building, weddings, Christmas parties and private functions. The centre has hosted an amazing variety of events, including visits from legendary astronauts such as Tim Peake, Buzz Aldrin, Chris Hadfield Helen Sharman and UK astronaut Piers Sellers. It continues to evolve through the development of new galleries, Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium shows and experiences.
